Production Supervisor

Responsible for line utilization, participation in quality and safety audits, and define operating procedures.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Oversees the production process to ensure on time delivery of high-quality products that meet needs of the customer.
Ensures appropriate production rate to reduce delivery delays.
Collaborates with the Quality Assurance Department to identify and resolve quality concerns.
Identifies any bottlenecks or delays in production; ensures necessary labor, materials, and other resources are available to relieve production delays.
Uses production planning and scheduling to limit materials shortages.
Implements and oversees quality controls and procedures including HACCP, metal detection, recall and hold procedures, lot traceability.
Ensures production programs meet targets to stay within budget.
Responsible for oversight of the inventory of packaging and raw material availability.
Create a line balance analysis to determine the optimum resources need for efficient operations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience/metal fabrication with a proven track record in identifying, managing and implementing operational excellence in projects for production.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Excel or similar software.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree - business administration, management, engineering, industrial technology Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes and techniques, health and safety standards and compliance, process improvement techniques with a proven track record in improved efficiency.
Lean Six/Sigma Training and/or Certification are preferred Business Acumen
